Twin Otter Simulator Landing at the Isle of Barra Beach

Pacific Sky Aviation Inc.’s Instructor Pilot Chris Poppitt lands the Twin Otter at the Isle of Barra Beach.

It’s very exciting to know that our Twin Otter DHC 6 400 Level D Full Flight Simulator is being used to train Loganair Pilots to land on the Isle of Barra Beach.

Barra Beach in the Outer Hebrides is one of the world’s top five most unusual runways. The airport is unique, being the only one in the world where scheduled flights use a beach as the runway.

Loganair currently own and operate 2 Viking Air Twin Otter DHC 6 400 airplanes, and are currently training with Pacific Sky Aviation Inc. on the Level D FFS located at their training centre in Calgary AB.
