The arrival of the Twin Otter Series 400 Level “D” Full Flight Simulator has begun! The first shipment arrived on 24 July with the rest due to arrive over the next few days.

Five transport trucks are on their way from the TRU Simulation facility in Montreal, travelling across Canada to our Calgary Training Centre. The first truck arrived on 24 July with the rest due to arrive over the next few days.
After months of preparation, the immaculate well-designed simulator bay and Training Centre are ready to go. The installation team is on site and beginning their work.
Renowned for its unique performance characteristics and ability to reliably operate in extreme environments, the first one hundred Series 400 Twin Otters produced by Viking exemplify the type’s versatility, with 38% operating as regional carriers, 31% performing in military or special missions roles, 26% providing industrial support, and 5% utilized by private charter. Of the first one hundred Viking Twin Otters, 70 aircraft are configured with standard wheel gear, 18 are equipped with straight or amphibious floats, 10 are configured with Intermediate Flotation Gear (IFG), and 2 are equipped with wheel skis.
Originally launched in March 2007, the Viking Series 400 Twin Otter is now flown in 29 countries and certified by 20 different regulatory bodies worldwide.
